In order to assist you, our valued patient, and avoid misunderstandings that lead to financial and consequently disappropriate reactions, we will try to assist you in the implementation of your insurance coverage.
The most formidable problem that you face as our patient is what is accountability and what is not accountability, i.e., what is covered and what is not covered under your policy. The diversity of polices written by each insurance company and each employer is varied and different.
To help you in understanding your insurance policy, we ask that you bring the medical and dental portion of your insurance polices on your first visit.
(1) For routine cases, extractions, impactions, etc., we require a deposit. This will be thoroughly discussed at your consultation visit.
(2) For major and elective cases, we will submit pre-estimates if we feel that your medical and/or dental insurance will help you.
(3) Please remember, insurance policies and coverages are a contract between you and the insurance company. In essence, you are always held financially responsible for all fees that are rendered.
Thank you for
your attention. If there are any further questions, please
do not hesitate to contact us, 617-628-8000.
