Usual technique for the removal of a single tooth is the administration of anesthesia of choice. This may be local, IV sedation or general.
|(1) A scalpel is then used to loosen the tissue and gum around the tooth.|
|(2) A periosteal elevator is used to elevate the periosteum around the neck of the tooth.|
|(3) A forceps of choice is then used to remove and break the seal to remove the tooth.|
